A better shed, made right here in the South East.
Every Blackbird shed is welded and fabricated in our own Millicent workshop from Australian BlueScope steel. We can supply the kit, pour the slab, put it up and handle the council paperwork. You deal with local people from the first quote to the last screw.

The difference is in the steel.
Plenty of sheds look the same in a brochure. The difference shows up in the connections, the iron and the little details you only notice years later. Here is what comes standard on every Blackbird shed.
OUR STANDARD APEX CONNECTIONWelded plates, not a bag of bolts.
Our frames arrive with connection plates fully welded on and painted in zinc-rich cold gal. They bolt together quickly with 16mm high-tensile bolts and line up true, no fiddling and no guesswork. Many kit sheds arrive as loose plates and a bag of bolts, and the price tag hides the headache.
- Fully welded base, haunch and apex plates
- 16mm high-tensile galvanised bolts throughout
- Our own patented roof system: framed on the ground, lifted by crane
VERMIN PROOFING DETAILSealed against mice, warranty intact.
Every Blackbird shed comes standard with the only vermin proofing on the market that still meets BlueScope's warranty specifications. Sheds sealed with anything else can void the warranty on the iron. Ours keeps the mice out and protects your BlueScope warranty.
- Standard on every shed, not an extra
- Meets BlueScope warranty specifications
BASE PLATE CONNECTIONBolted into the footing, not onto it.
Our C-section sheds are anchored with two 16mm by 300mm hook bolts, welded together at the correct centres and cast into the concrete footing when it is poured. That is a far stronger hold-down than the surface fixings many competitors use, and it is why our sheds stay put in a South East gale.
- Hook bolts cast into the footing itself
- Fully welded mild steel base plates, zinc-rich painted
OUR MILLICENT WORKSHOPFabricated by our own team in Millicent.
Your shed is not shipped in from interstate or overseas. It is welded in our own workshop by our own fabricators, from Australian made steel rolled locally in the South East.
- Australian made materials, rolled in the South East
- .42mm BlueScope Trimdek or corrugated iron standard
- The same workshop that fabricates our commercial projects
Supply and build, or kit only.
Most of our sheds are full supply and build: we handle the kit, the slab, the erection and the council paperwork. If you would rather put it up yourself, a kit delivered to the farm gate is fine by us too.
The paperwork
First things first: we prepare and lodge your council planning and building applications and chase them so you do not have to.
The shed kit
A complete, fully engineered kit with welded connections, delivered ready for a fast build.
The slab
Our concrete crews pour a precise slab, level to the edges, so the shed lasts longer and finishes cleaner.
The build
Our own construction crews put your shed up safely and efficiently, with our own cranes where needed.
Pick your colours.
